Hi – My name is Heather and Sugar & Spice is a food an exercise blog I started in September of 2008. I find having this blog really inspires me to be active and healthy. I love cooking, baking and eating nutritious foods. I also enjoy exercising and running on a regular basis. I have had a lot of fun doing these things, and blogging about the new recipes, new healthy foods I discover, and the exercise I do on a regular basis.

Hi: I am trying to burn some calories (lose some 20 pounds) and would like to know if there is an specific section in your blog where I can look for lower calories dinners (I am basically trying to cook dinner at home).

Thanks for reading my blog! You have just given me a great idea, because right now my “lighter” recipes are not in one section of the blog. But I will get started on creating a new page that will have the light / healthy recipes all together and they will be easy to find! Thanks again for reading – good luck in your weight loss!
I recently began compiling my family’s recipes (mostly healthy) and writing about our attempt to eat a rainbow a day. If I had another blog yours would be it! I could see myself writing everything on your “about” and “exercise” pages. So excited to have found your blog!
