I am not much of a baker, I must say. I do not do cakes, I have not done too many pies in my day, not many baked goods, well, you get the picture. On Friday I was going a bit stir crazy, so I decided to make some bread.
I made the dough, but it in a bowl, and let it rise for 18 hours.
Then I messed with it a bit, and then let it rise again for 2 more hours.
Once it was done rising, I put it in the oven for 45 minutes… and guess what? It came out looking like this:
I could not believe it. The recipe was from Mark Bittman (of course!) it is the ‘famous’ No Knead Bread recipe he published in the New York Times back in 2006. For the recipe, click here. I highly recommend checking it out. If I can do it, anyone can!
If do not bake, how come your bread looks perfect! 🙂
