Morning Eats…

Enough news. On to food. 🙂

Wednesday morning is my week day morning for oatmeal. Today the oatmeal was ok. I did 1/3 of a cup of a combination of oat bran and rolled oats. 1/3 cup 1% milk, 1/3 cup water. A few raisins. A shake of cinnamon and probably a teaspoon of vanilla.

Along with a cup of coffee.


My morning set up looked a bit like this:


News, blogs, running info and so on. I am doing a lot of research this morning on running and blisters. Gross, right? I really need to get a cure-all for blisters. When I have to stop running it is usually because I have a blister not because I want to stop. After 3.7 miles the other day I had two blisters. So I took Monday off (which I needed to anyway – so I’m almost glad that I was forced to take a break). Today I’m going to try again.

If you have any blister treatments let me know. I have my wicking socks. I have great shoes. Maybe my feet just need to get used to running again. I am hoping to get some expert advice at the Marathon Expo (part of the Boston Marathon) in a couple of weeks. It is one of my favorite days of the year…

Ok. I am off to find some bite size Larabars! Wish me luck.
