Wednesday’s food, etc.

Hey All –

I switched up breakfast today – fruit, low fat yogurt, and granola:

Along with the yogurt and fruit combo, I had my own creation of café au lait!  Sadly enough, I could not steam my milk this morning, but I warmed up the milk in the microwave and then added the hot coffee to my travel mug.  It worked out really well! 🙂

For lunch I had another salad. This salad was quite good… one hard boiled egg, but only half the yolk, two slices of turkey bacon crumbled on the salad, red peppers, carrots, tomato, cucumbers, and two cups of lettuce.  Not so brilliantly I forgot my camera this morning (Meh!!) but here is a picture from my archive that is similar:

I also had a half a piece of whole wheat pita:

At 4:30 I was super hungry, so I had a Nature Valley granola bar… two bars are 180 calories. I bought the bars for camping, but they aren’t a bad snack to have once in a while!  I find them pretty satisfying.

At 6 o’clock I had a container of Fage. I had a pedicure appointment at 6:30 so I knew it would be a late night for dinner… but of course my Greek yogurt got me through like a champion and with 15 grams of protein and 0 fat – I love it!

For dinner, which I had around 8:30 tonight, I had a few chicken pot-stickers from trader joe’s and half a cup of steamed broccoli – a really great dinner!
Here is a picture, sans the broccoli…

I’m still a little bit hungry, so I might be heading into the kitchen for a Vitamuffin or a little bit of frozen yogurt. I am not sure yet!
I hope you all had great days, and that the week is going well for all of you.

I am really hoping that the weather improves a bit…. the rain and cold has made it a bit hard to get out and exercise. I am really glad that I had such a great weekend outside, it sort of makes up for the weather right now !

See ya’ll tomorrow.
