Hi All –
I’m sorry for the unscheduled break in the blog over the last several days. It was crazy at work and just so much stuff was going on over the past few days that I hardly had time to sleep, and definitely did not have time to blog.
A few highlights from last week. Pizza was served at work on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for dinner. On Friday I had a donut for breakfast (it was so good) a Larabar for lunch – and like I said before, pizza for dinner.
I’m all about getting back on track this week – but tomorrow will be another 14 hour day at work, so I am hoping to have my first real post up on Thursday. Bare with me just a couple more days…
In case you were wondering about today’s food, here it is:
Breakfast, 1/2 a whole grain bagel and a medium coffee from D&D with milk
Lunch: udon noodles with tofu, broccoli, tomatoes and green beans (this is a great on the go meal!)
All day today – lots of water! (About 2 1/2 liters during work)
PM snack – 2 mini snickers bars (the bite size ones) and a quarter of the whole grain bagel that was still at my desk… (yeah, I threw the rest away at 3 o’clock)
Dinner was at 8:30 tonight – a great carrot, walnut and parsley salad (Pepin inspired of course – recipe to follow sometime soon) a wedge of light Laughing Cow cheese, three slices of pepperoni and four whole wheat crackers from TJs. Exercise of the day was a half hour walk at lunch.
I have cancelled my travel plans for this weekend and am hoping to use the long weekend to catch up on rest, running, and relaxing (the 3 Rs!) Let’s see if I can do it!
Tonight after work I went over to the hospital to visit Tim & Nicole who have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our world – I am in love with Henri already. I can’t wait to see him again on Friday 🙂
I hope everyone is having a great week so far.
Glad to see you are still here! I was just going to email you to see if all was well… Hang in there – the three Rs are just around the corner!
