Busy Day…

Wow, today was a busy day. I woke up early this morning and made breakfast. A mixture of oatmeal and oat bran.

I made the oats with milk and a little bit of water. I added cinnamon and vanilla and a super small pinch of salt.

I added a bit of honey, cinnamon, peanut butter, and blueberries to my oats:

It was such a good combination. I also drank coffee out of my favorite coffee mug. I remember my dad drinking coffee out of this mug 🙂

It was dark, rainy and cool when I woke up this morning. It took all I had in me not to stay in bed until I really had to get up. I wanted to get up early and make breakfast – so I am glad that I actually did. I had a busy morning and it was lunch time before I knew it. I went to lunch at 1 o’clock and had some left over pasta and sauce (not a pretty picture):

But it tasted soo good! I can’t wait to have this again sometime soon.

I was busy at work. It felt great coming back from a full week off from the office though. I was really relaxed and de-stressed and I am going to try so hard to maintain this state of mind. I know that stress is soooo unhealthy, but sometimes I do find myself extremely stressed at work. In order to help me maintain my lower stress level, I made sure to go to the gym after work.

My workout was pretty simple. I did the bike for 2 3/4 miles (maybe 17 minutes? I cannot remember!) and then I went on the treadmill for 25 minutes where I did 2 1/2 miles – a mixture of jogging and walking. I had an incline of 1 – 3 1/2 %.

I have not been to the gym in a good amount of time, so it felt good to get back and workout. 😀 I hope to get back into the routine now.

Dinner:

Another wrap with cheese, spinach, scallions, a veggie burger and salsa.

Ok, I am off – still have a lot of things to accomplish on my evening to do list! See you soon.
