So, if any of you live in Rhode Island, I wanted to tell you about an upcoming event. On Wednesday from 4pm – 6pm the Rhode Island CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Fair will be taking place. It will be held during the Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market (which is a lot of fun to go to!) at the Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main Street, Pawtucket RI.

14 local farmers will be featured. A lot of the farmers are offering half sized shares which I think will be appealing to a lot of folks because usually your box will be filled with so much produce for some it can be hard to use it all in a week.

I love CSAs. I find it to be a challenge – almost like the show Chopped on the Food Network… you never know what is going to come in your basket for the week, but you have to make awesome and creative meals with it. It is a really fun task! I hope you will think about supporting your local CSA this season.  If you live in Rhode Island, stop by the RI CSA Fair on Wednesday – it will be a great time!!
