I spent a lot of time this afternoon catching up with some college friends, it was great. First I went to the art show at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society at Slater Park in Pawtucket. While there I met up with one of my best friends from college, Jennifer and another college friend Matt and his wife and family. The paintings on display were amazing and beautiful. We had a really fun time taking in all of the art.

After the art show, Jennifer and I got in my car and went to Seven Stars for some much needed catch up time. We had a great conversation about things going on in our lives for a long time. I enjoyed a café au lait and we both enjoyed an oatmeal raisin cookie – which was so amazing!

Doesn’t the cookie look like it’s in a bit of a heart shape!? So cute…

After Jennifer and I parted ways, I went to the grocery store to get some food for the week. My basket had the following items:

chicken breast

lettuce

avocado

cucumber

grape tomatoes

milk

coffee cream

When I got home I was hungry so I fixed myself a bowl of carrot slices, red pepper slices, hummus and a couple of whole wheat crackers.

I also had a large glass of water. I am still hungry – but my mom is making chicken and dumplings, so I will be enjoying that soon enough! Happy Sunday everyone.
