Do you ever have a week where you just have nothing to report? I am having one of those weeks right now. There is not really anything going on, except my normal busy life. Not much to report in the area of cuisine or exercise. So, there you have it 🙂
But I will say that I went out to dinner last night with one of my favorite people, my friend Colleen. We had a great night of catching up and endless conversation. I did not get home from dinner until after 9 o’clock! When I walked in the door, I put down my bags, went straight into the kitchen, prepared my lunch for the next day and then got ready for bed.
Dinner last night was in a little Italian restaurant that Colleen and I both love in Quincy. I ordered a side salad and a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The salad was great, the sandwich was (of course) wonderful and I have half of it for lunch today.
Breakfast this morning was coffee and a Kashi chewy peanut butter granola bar. I really adore the Kashi granola bars for breakfast – I think they are a pretty good mix of fiber, protein and fat to get my morning started.
I hope to come up with something creative for dinner tonight – so stay tuned! Until then, happy Hump Day!
