Ok, so I do realize that I have been away from the blog for a long time – over a week.  I guess it is mostly the usual problem that I run into in the summer. It’s hot, I am busy (who knew watering a garden and two lawns could take up so much time!?), and I am not inspired to be a culinary genius at the moment (not that I ever am, actually).

That does not mean that I have not been enjoying good food though. This weekend I was thrilled to have  poached eggs on Saturday, and an amazing breakfast burrito on Sunday and some good (local) barbecue over the weekend, too. So, basically I have just been slacking on the blog. But I am back.

Half marathon training was supposed to start yesterday, instead I think it will start today after work.

Breakfast this morning was a Kashi peanut butter granola bar. (I am still starving)

Lunch will be left over Thai. Vegetable and Tofu pad thai and ginger chicken with a side of blueberries and strawberries.

Afternoon (pre-workout) snack: 2% Chobani strawberry and banana yogurt.

Dinner: Still a mystery
