Yesterday I had a pretty amazing 1% latte from Starbucks. I walked in at 6:40 AM and was at work by 7:10 – what a great start to the day. I don’t know about you, but I always find lattes rather filling. I did not actually have breakfast until 9:30 yesterday morning when my stomach started growling at me – I was not hungry, but since my stomach was literally talking to me I decided to eat a Kashi granola bar.
Lunch was a salad with a hard boiled egg and a couple of small pieces of chicken for added protein. Instead of making my salad, I went to Lambert’s and made a really wonderful one from the salad bar there. No pita bread for me yesterday. 😦 Just greens, veggies and protein. (It’s time to get serious!)
KF and I went for a walk a little after 1 o’clock and we were surprised by how frickin’ hot it was. At one point I felt like I was melting. But we walked on, and did maybe a mile and a half. It was a beautiful day – just a bit warmer than we were expecting.
Afternoon snack: 0% Chobani strawberry Greek yogurt. Really hit the spot. I ended up working a little late last night, did not get home until after 6 o’clock. I had to run over to my friend’s house to see one of my favorite two year olds who is visiting from New York for the week, so my running got replaced by hanging out with a toddler. 🙂 Dinner was cereal.
