Breakfast · Lunch

Thursday has been a busy day so far – but I’m just going to recap the food for now…

Breakfast was early for a vacation day – before 8 o’clock.  I had Peanut Butter Puffins and strawberries and a cup of coffee:

This combo was really interesting – strawberries and peanut butter (via the cereal flavor – I did not actually add any). I wonder if I’ll ever actually try a nut butter with strawberries. I might not 🙂 But this did pretty well for breakfast!

I did not have time to finish the coffee at our dining room table… instead I took it on my “run” through the house getting ready this morning.  My mom and I had a funeral to go to this morning – and we left the house at 8:15 to make sure we were at the church by 9 o’clock.

After the funeral we had errands to run. We eventually got home around 2 o’clock. I worked in my room for a while sorting laundry, going through my old dresser, and trying to unpack some clothes. I still have a long way to go – but I have made some progress!

Lunch was similar to last night’s dinner. I was hungry – but I had eaten a bit of food at the reception this morning, so I was not famished.  I made another yogurt, granola and fruit mixture. This time I used Stoneyfield vanilla, granola and blueberries. This time I added a teaspoon of almond butter – wow, that made my mix even more amazing!

This lunch set up was pretty similar to breakfast, but with a glass of sparkling water instead of coffee!

Yum – this was a great lunch. I think the almond butter gave it a little more staying power than it would have had on it’s own.

I have not made it to the gym yet. 😦 I am not sure if I’m going to make it today. I have to start packing for Maine and I have to make some oatmeal cookies to bring with me!  Hopefully I can squeeze in a gym workout either today or tomorrow morning before I head off!

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday… see you all soon!
