Happy weekend everyone! I was soo exhausted yesterday that by last night I decided I was not setting my alarm this morning and I would sleep as late as I wanted. I slept until 10:15 this morning and I felt so much better after a good night’s sleep.
By eleven this morning, mom and I were at my favorite bakery, Seven Stars. I was having a heck of a time deciding what to have for my late breakfast. Ginger biscuit, chocolate croissant, banana muffin or so many other options. I settled on the usual:
Croissant, raspberry jam and an iced latte with 1% milk. Such a great breakfast.
Mom and I had a bunch of errands to run today. During the afternoon (around 3) I snacked on about ten peanut butter pretzels that I had packed for my go to snack. At the end of our afternoon of running around, we ended up at Trader Joe’s (aka heaven for me).
We bought about three bags of groceries, including all of the fixings for tonight’s dinner. Lobster ravioli, amazing spinach salad and a couple of pieces of french bread. The lobster ravioli was really wonderful – I was quite surprised. Compared to a couple of the other packaged pastas I have seen, the Lobster rav was relatively low in sodium. Yay!
Dinner:
I could not finish the ravioli. (I left two on my plate.) It was a great dinner! Ok, I’m signing off. Tonight: cheering for the Celtics! Go Cs! See y’all tomorrow.
