Two Years of Blogging

Hi All –

I am having a hard time believing that my food blog is two years old! In some ways it went by rather quickly, and in other ways it seems like ages ago that I started the blog. I guess that is quite often the way of things.

In two years I have written 490 posts. I have had over 40,000 people look at the blog (and hopefully read it!) 😀 I have averaged about 1 1/2 posts a day. It is really fun to sort of take a look back to see what I was writing about two years ago.

The other day I did a quick re-design of the blog site. Let me know what you think. I hope you like it!

Yesterday I went to see Eat, Pray, Love with my mom. I liked the movie a lot. I particularly liked the time that takes place in Italy. It really made me crave fresh pasta and sauce as well as pizza from Naples! I have decided that pasta and bolognese sauce will be on the menu this week!

After the movie last night I spent some time thinking about food (shocking, I know). I realized that I had not been to Whole Foods in weeks (so weird) and thus have not been eating much meat. So on the agenda today, Whole Foods to pick up some chicken and perhaps a small amount of beef for the bolognese…

It’s raining today, so I do not see an outdoor run in my future, at least for today. I might venture to the gym – but I have to say that I do not feel like it right now!

I am sort of sad to realize that this is the last day of my vacation. I have really enjoyed every bit of it from the camping to the cooking and blogging. I really do wish I could cook and blog as a full time job. But I wonder if I did these things for a living, would I love them so much? I don’t know.

I have been awake for an hour and still no breakfast. Sort of the same thing as yesterday… I am celebrating the two year anniversary of my blog with a great cup of coffee:

Happy Sunday, everyone.
