Tuesday

Hi there.

Happy Tuesday to you all.  How is the week treating you so far?  I hope you are enjoying some amazing fall weather – I know I am!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to exercise twice. I went for a two mile walk at lunch and after work I drove straight to the gym, and did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine – it was an interval workout. I left the gym after that rather quick workout because I was starving!! More on dinner later – there is quite the back story behind it 🙂

Monday was a great day for me. I was super productive and even though I had enjoyed an amazingly busy weekend with not much time for sleep or rest, I had a lot of energy yesterday. I walked, did the gym, did laundry, packed lunch for today, did the blog, and had dinner. I even managed to fit in an episode and a half of Glee!

I am not sure if Tuesday will be quite as productive, but I’m holding out hope that it will be!  I took a short (ten minute?) walk at lunch.   Lunch itself was rather good, too:

A turkey sandwich with dijon mustard on Arnold’s healthy choice bread, along with grapes and some un-photographed potato chips (Cape Cod!!).  I still have the pear – and I think it will be a great snack on the train tonight.

Right now I am enjoying a Wallaby strawberry yogurt:

I love yogurt for an afternoon snack. It really fills me up and keeps the afternoon snacky cravings at bay – for the most part! 🙂

A few random thoughts of the day:

1. I hate olives, but I wish I liked them.

2. I really want to make a lasagna soon… I’ve actually never made one before.

3. I think it’s getting to be time to harvest my basil crop for the season. I see pesto in the near future. . .
