So, I made it to the gym again – it was rough going this morning. I had zero motivation, but somehow I managed to get going. I walked 2.25 miles again today, in just under 40 minutes. Then I biked and I got my ‘level’ up to 5 today. I did 2 1/2 miles on the bike, it was torture. I am getting into my nook book, yesterday I started Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. I read my nook the entire time I was walking and biking. I will let you know what I think when I get further into it. A lot of my friends have read it and they have all said great things about the book.
After the gym I got ready to meet my friend Danielle at Seven Stars bakery for a light lunch. I drank a protein powder / water mix on my way. I arrived a couple of minutes early and grabbed the last table available – I am really glad I got there early or else we would not have had a seat to eat at! I put down my things and went to order a latte and a ginger biscuit… then I got out my nook to do a little more reading:
The lattes are always so pretty, and really strong. I do love them. Danielle ordered a veggie sandwich (mozzarella, arugula, roasted red peppers) which we split. It was a great lunch.
I stopped by City Sports after lunch. I looked around for my water bottle last night to no avail, so I picked up a klean kanteen bottle. Now I have two little things to make going back to work more fun:
Pulled pork sandwich for dinner tonight. My grilled chicken pesto sandwich kept me from having a real dinner last night. At 8:30 I had a bowl of Kashi go lean crunch and counted that as dinner. Tonight I am really looking forward to the pulled pork!
Hey Heather!
Um, are you a Broadway 7 Stars patron? or are you an East-Sider…
I get most of my 7-stars goods down in Pawtuxet Village, at a place that I like, but not enough to go often other than to take out fresh-made 7-stars food-stuffs…
I go to almost all Seven Stars locations!! I go to Broadway when I’m at my dentist, I go to East Providence sometimes – but mostly I am an East Sider – Hope Street is where I was this week!! 🙂
