The last couple of days…

I am not quite sure where I have been the last couple of days. This week is sort of strange – I cannot believe it is only Tuesday evening.

Monday was a day of good and rich food. But my breakfast was the same: a blueberry Stonyfield yogurt. I doctored my yogurt up with some ‘super foods’ chia seeds and ground flax seeds. I am liking this new addition to my breakfast, and I will be adding both to my oatmeal tomorrow morning.

Monday’s lunch was pretty amazing. Fresh and ripe strawberries, carrot sticks, a bit of (rich) chicken salad on a piece of whole wheat bread. I felt like I was going on a picnic!


Monday night was my sister’s experience in the kitchen. It was a crazy night – but she produced an amazing dinner! Pardon the iPhone snap shot, but I was just happy to eat dinner at 8:30 last night…


Once I get the recipe from my sister, I will post it – I promise!

Breakfast today was the same – but a bit delayed. I did not have a chance to eat the yogurt until about 10 o’clock this morning, so I had a mini-clif bar at 8:30 this morning with my coffee from Au Bon Pain. It was a nice mini-breakfast of sorts.

Lunch was lovely – Sarah’s leftovers, and a spinach and tomato salad that I made on the fly at 6am this morning:


Ok, I’m sort of done with today. I am hoping to get some serious sleep and after that, hopefully I will feel much better tomorrow morning. I have taken two days off from running (Monday and Tuesday) which I have not liked at all. But both days I got 20 minutes of speed walking in, to catch the 5 o’clock train home from work.
