Breakfast · Lunch · Walk

Tuesday

Some how it has been a full week since my last blog post! I am not quite sure how that happened – but here I am to make up for it!

On Tuesday morning I had a very fall / winter-ish breakfast. HOT oatmeal. The one thing that made it summery was the amazingly freshly picked blueberries!! I loved every single one of these blueberries – they really made the oatmeal fantastic. So did the spoonful of Barney Butter, of course!

I was really impressed that I did not need to eat again until lunch time…

For lunch I had a Chobani Greek yogurt, an apple and a little more Barney Butter on the apple. It is a really bad thing that I now have this almond butter with me at work. I need to try and not eat it at every meal. But it is sort of addictive. I opened the jar last week – I am going to see how long I can keep it before I completely polish it off!

Yesterday was extremely busy at work and after work. At 4:30 I left the office and drove to a friend’s house for dinner.  We had an amazing meal of pizza and salad. I had two helpings of salad and three (yes 3) slices of pizza. I was starving. After dinner I started off for a walk around the neighborhood in my new hiking boots (I love these things so far!) but ended up running back to the house. I had just gotten about half a mile into my walk when I heard thunder. I’m not a totally lame outdoors person, so I kept walking. It was immediately after I saw the lightening  that I went running back to the house. Thankfully I got inside before things got a lot worse.

I ended my evening with a small serving of Ben and Jerry’s Frozen Greek Yogurt. This stuff is brilliant! I had the raspberry chocolate flavor and it was lovely. A great way to end a good day.

Happy Hump Day, everyone! See you in a bit.
