Happy Tuesday morning, bloggies. Oats and coffee were on the menu this Tuesday AM.
I have not posted a “food for thought” post in a long time – so here are a couple of links I found interesting yesterday.
As September is just around the corner, I was trying to spice up my “brown bag” lunch option and I found this interesting article from webmd. Here is the link: How to pack a good lunch. Let me know what you think. I thought there were some pretty good suggestions.
Secondly – I cannot wait to make this recipe. My friend Kate gave me a peanut butter protein ball yesterday and it was amazing. This definitely needs to go into my daily routine. If I have time I’m going to whip some up tonight.
On the agenda today: at least a four mile run outside.

Thanks for sharing that article. My favorite thing is to cook in bulk. If I cook during the week I make sure to make at least 3 servings so that I have a few healthy lunches ready to go!
I totally agree! Normally I cook a lot and always have left overs. I am not sure what had gotten into me this summer – but I need to get back into cooking. Thank goodness fall is just around the corner. I can’t wait for turkey chili and ratatouille!! 🙂
